Frances Yonge

Frances is a pianist/songwriter from Tenterden, Kent. She has produced many of her own albums and her songs are noted for their originality, described by SO magazine as ‘ageless and mesmerising’. Frances was commissioned to write a song for theatre company, Hera, creating words and music for an online opera. She enjoys setting words to music, notably for Helen Dunmore’s well known poem ‘My life’s stem was cut’, and more recently for Natalie Farrell with whom she has created a songscape album featuring poetry from Natalie’s book ‘Light the way’.

Her new album, ‘Indigo’, will be available on streaming platforms in September.
