Cecily Patience

This is Cecily Patience – a singer/songwriter from East Sussex. Growing up in the countryside, singing along to James Blunt and Amy Macdonald in long car rides with her parents, Cecily discovered her love for singing at an early age. However, it wasn’t until she was 19 years old that she first picked up a guitar and started to write her own songs. 

Taking inspiration from lyricists such as Taylor Swift, Florence + The Machine, and Maggie Rogers, Cecily writes original songs about feelings and scenarios drawn from her own life experiences. With just a guitar and her voice, Cecily tells the audience a story. With each verse and chorus she writes, she offers vulnerability, authenticity, and a hook that will stay in your head for days. 

Cecily Patience’s debut single – ‘Emotional Hangover’ – is set to be released on 22nd August 2024!
