Paul Gunn Collective

Paul Gunn worked as a professional actor for 20 years before switching to music. He moved to Tunbridge Wells in 2016.

He composes on the piano with a unique melodic songwriting and vocal style featuring World Music rhythms. His most recent gig was at The Ealing Jazz Festival and his distinctive sound is beginning to be recognised. (Strangely, by five different critics, he has been compared to Bowie, something that would not have occurred to him).

Paul Gunn Collective at L&L this year will feature Josephine Davies on Sax (winner of the UK Parliamentary Jazz Awards – Instrumentalist of The Year 2019), British-Guyanese Drummer David Rohoman (formerly with Ian Dury), and sensational Bass player Leslee Booth bringing his Indian Music nuances on six string contra-bass.

Paul’s web-site offers live videos, audio and more info.
