Catching Mangoes

Catching Mangoes are a four-piece Rock band, based in London, originating from the musical cauldron of Forest Row. George, Dan, Max, and Alex started their journey together in 2021, recording and releasing their debut, concept album ‘Kevin’s Town’ at Brighton Electric Recording Studios. They have played extensively across the country, including sold-out headline shows in London (Strongroom), Brighton (Hope & Ruin), Bristol (Mr Wolf’s) and their home town Forest Row (Hop Yard, The Swan), alongside a string of festivals such as Good Vibrations Society, Chiddfest and Forest Row Festival.

Support has come in the forms of regular airtime on BBC Sussex, Surrey and Kent, Reyt Good Magazine, Clash Magazine and supporting Carl Barat (The Libertines). New material is also on the horizon for early 2023.

The album follows the tale of a young boy named Kevin on his adventures, escaping his home town in search of the truth about himself and his fellow townsfolk. In trying to figure out the mystery surrounding his long-lost father, Kevin comes to realise that only he can save his town from a terrible fate.
