Zoë Nicol

Zoë Nicol is a singer/songwriter raised in Kent with Liverpudlian and Irish roots. An ethereal and provoking voice, accompanied by delicate string picking, seeking truth with mindful songs.

Zoë’s debut album These are the Stories was released in 2010, following her collaboration with Rosie Jones they formed the duo Worry Dolls, who performed alongside the likes of Robert Plant and Mumford & Sons, played the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival, were nominated for single of the year at the AMA Awards and awarded The Drake YolanDa Award.

In 2020 Zoë released an album as Zoë the Storyteller, a project inspired by her interest in the environment. In the summer of 2022, Zoë performed at Wilderness Festival and began working on a new solo project alongside new bandmate Ben Mercer (banjo, steel guitar, mandolin), set for release this autumn.
