The Paul Dunton Orchestra

Local musician and songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric mix of pop, folk and americana with a unique cinematic twist. Performing a mix of Paul’s own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards, The Orchestra is comprised of violin, cello, flute, bass, guitar and percussion, Paul himself on keys/vocals and his lead vocalists, Poppy Raine, Kirsti Ferguson and Harriet Langley. In 2016, Paul and the orchestra were featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul’s songs, ‘Don’t Forget’. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours. The new single ‘Give Me A Reason’ is out now on ITunes, Spotify and all renowned digital stores. The new 14 track album ‘Clearly Invisible’ is available at all gigs.
