The Paul Dunton Orchestra

Kent based musician Paul Dunton leads his own cross-over orchestra providing an uplifting mix of cinematic pop and lilting Americana. Performing a mix of Paul’s own crafted compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards, from the likes of  Fleetwood Mac and Daisy Jones and The Six, through to Massive Attack, London Grammar and Jamiroquai. The Orchestra are comprised of Poppy Raine, Kirsti Ferguson, Hannah Richards (shared lead/harmony vocals), Steve McCormack (lead guitar), Steve Mealing (bass guitar), Dalma Gebe (violin), Caroline Stead (cello), Becky Andrew (flute), James Chapman (drums) with Paul on keys and vocals. They have shared stages with the likes of Keane, McFly, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Tom O’dell, Rick Astley, Ward Thomas, KT Tunstall and toured with Joan Armatrading across the UK. More recently they headlined their own tours to Germany and the USA to great acclaim.

Their current single ‘Oxygen’ has been very well received by the music press and is available on all major online platforms for download and steaming.

‘Oxygen’ really is a breath of fresh air, rich in pop sensibilities and atmospheric cinematic layers, it draws you in and takes you on an journey, an experience. Catchy and earnest, this is new music to cherish and enjoy!
