Bio Longer Form – A Year In Provence are a five-piece indie rock band from Kent, UK, made up of Matt Potter (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Bacon (bass), James Fermer (backing vocals/guitar), Dan Wing (lead guitar) and Jack Smith (drums).

Formed in 2016, the band locked in their definitive lineup in 2020 and quickly made their mark with a sound that blends driving riffs, soaring melodies and heartfelt lyrics. After a short break, they roared back in 2024—refreshed, re-energised, and ready to hit harder than ever.

Their music draws inspiration from artists like Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Black Keys, Two Door Cinema Club, Oasis, Kings of Leon, Circa Waves and more—channelling those influences into anthems built for sweaty gigs and sing-along choruses.
