Formed over a decade ago, The Breaks are an alternative, folk-tinged pop-rock band who reside firmly on the side of Americana. Their original sound is at times melancholic, occasionally dark, but always melodic and memorable. The band includes Stu Cardwell on vocals and guitars, Andy Shonfeld on bass, Joe Cox on vocals, keys, and guitar, and Alex Cooper on vocals, drums, and percussion.
