Elias Kopp is an up-and-coming artist from the south of the UK. The genre is ever developing, mixing synth pop, spoken word, rock and drum and bass with catchy hooks and addictive melodies that worm their way into the listeners ears and stay there for days.
Lead singer Eli gives a performance that flips from energetic to emotional, taking you deeper into the narrative of each track. Although the songs vary in subject matter, the ethos of the band is to show people struggling with mental health issues that they are not alone and that it is possible to come out the other side stronger.
Due to the set up of the live show and the chemistry between Eli and drummer Paul Fraser, friends of the act have dubbed them the British Twenty One Pilots. Although there has been clear influence from the American Duo, Elias Kopp has developed a fresh sound of their own that has led song ‘Saviour and ‘When the Sun’s Gone’ to become featured tracks on BBC Introducing the South.
